Alex is a senior at Lakeside School. He has qualified for the USAJMO four times, and qualified for the USAMO this past year. Alex is a USAJMO Winner and a USAMO Silver Medalist, and has qualified for MOP three times. When not doing math, he can be found programming, chatting online, and playing any of clarinet, a number of ball sports, and strategy video games.

William is a senior at Lakeside School. He has been involved in contest math since elementary school, earning several Distinguished Honor Rolls on the AMC 10 and qualifying for the AIME multiple times. William enjoys community math events in particular and has participated in the Washington ARML team since 2018, helping organize things for the team for the past three years. Aside from math, William participates in competitive programming and believes a good deal of computer science topics should be integrated into a good math curriculum. In his spare time, William enjoys playing violin, folding origami, playing badminton, creating YouTube videos, performing card magic, and listening to EDM.

Annabel is a senior at Lakeside school this year. She has participated in many math competitions since elementary school. She has gone through the AMC series for many years and has attended MOP two times. Her favorite olympiad subject is combo. In addition to math, she participates in her school's crew team, and some of her other interests include drawing, playing card games, and music. Annabel also enjoys coding (casually) and has participated in USACO. She's excited to be a part of SIMC leadership this year and help create engaging problems and tests!

William is a senior at Bellevue High School. He began participating in math competitions in elementary school and has qualified for the AIME multiple times and the USAJMO once. His favorite subject is geometry, but he is also fascinated by algebra and advanced math, and he loves elegant and simple solutions to complex math problems. William is passionate about web development and loves spending time thinking about and creating new designs for webpages. Aside from math and programming, William enjoys following sports and soccer, listening to music, and exploring random facts online.

Owen is a senior at Interlake High School and has been passionate about mathematics since the 4th grade. He has qualified for the USAJMO, qualified for the AIME 4 times, and participated in competitions such as ARML and Mathcounts. Outside of math, Owen enjoys listening to music, programming, physics, running, or catching up with friends.

Nishka is a senior at Interlake High School, and has loved math since elementary school. She has qualified for the AIME 4 times, for Math Prize for Girls several times, and received a distinguished honor roll for the AMC 12. She also enjoys programming, and in both, her favorite parts are feeling the eureka moments and the satisfaction of a clean solution. Other hobbies of hers include puzzling (both feeling confused and doing puzzles), launching flaming projectiles, and reading and writing.

Rohan is a junior at Lakeside School and has participated in math competitions like the AMC and Mathcounts since 6th grade, garnering distinctions multiple times on the AMC 10, DHR on the AMC 8, and what would have been the State countdown round in Mathcounts (were it not for COVID). When not doing math, you can find him attempting to ace his opponents at tennis tournaments, building science projects, coding, studying for physics competitions, or stirring up controversy at MUN debates.

Joyce Huang is a junior at Redmond High School. She won an Honorable Mention at the 2023 USAJMO. Joyce enjoys math because Joyce enjoys joy and math makes Joyce rejoice. Joyce also enjoys playing the oboe (which everyone knows is obviously the best instrument in the world), as well as the piano, cello, flute, alto saxophone, trumpet, and hopefully the lituus someday.

Hongning is a junior at Eastlake High School. His pronouns are he/him/his. He has participated in math contests for six years and was a 2022 USAJMO Honorable Mention. He took part in SIMC events since middle school and is super excited to be on the SLG this year. Hongning is committed to sharing his experience in math to the math community. He hopes to continue creating meaningful contests, opportunities and problem of the months for SIMC members and others in our community during his second year on the SLG. When not doing math, Hongning likes to read a good book, read about current events, and play chess card games with friends.

Owen is a sophomore at Lakeside who frequently participates in competitive math events. He started math in 1st grade (doing Math Kangaroo), and has qualified for AIME twice and USAJMO once. He aspires to be invited to MOP next year. Aside from math, He enjoys LD debate, biking on park trails, and baking desserts. His favorite book series is Cradle by Will Wight; his eye color is brown; He loves a thought-provoking audiobook; He sucks at bowling.

Amy is a sophomore at Lakeside School, and she has been participating in math competitions since elementary school. She has attended MOP, qualified for JMO twice, and was a JMO Top Winner. Her favorite subject in math is geometry, but apart from solving problems, she also really values the friendships she has made in the math community. In addition to doing math, she enjoys fencing, running, reading, and listening to music.

Immanuel is a sophomore at Lakeside School. He is a 3x USAJMO qualifier, 4x AIME qualifier, and (somehow) placed 17th individually at ARML recently. One thing about math competitions that Immanuel appreciates is the community he can find through them. In his free time, Immanuel enjoys reading manga, listening to music, and playing chess.

He has qualified for AIME multiple times and enjoys participating in any sort of mathematical competition. Outside of math, Alex also competes in robotics and debate. When not at a competition, he can frequently be found folding origami, listening to music, or working on personal projects.

Christina is a sophomore at Lakeside School. She has qualified for the AIME thrice (three times? thrice?), been on the AMC 10 Distinguished Honor Roll, and has gone to Math Prize for Girls. Outside of math, she enjoys any kind of board sport (snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, probably fireboarding if it existed), playing guitar, and annihilating people at volleyball. Here’s a lame fact about her: if she was born three hours later, she would be three years old!

Eric Yee is a junior at Henry M. Jackson High School. He has been doing contest math for 3 years now and has qualified for AIME twice. He has been passionate about math since middle school, and believes that the best way to learn math is to work towards solving ever more difficult problems. When he is (unfortunately) not doing math, Eric enjoys trying to improvise on his trombone, listening to jazz, and swimming/drowning.
