As the holiday season winds down and we gear up for an exciting new year, what better way to start 2025 than with an engaging math challenge? We’re thrilled to invite you to SIMC 8, a mock AMC 8 competition targeted towards elementary and middle school students, perfect for sharpening your problem-solving skills and connecting with fellow math enthusiasts, hosted by AoPS Academy Redmond!

Whether you’re preparing for the official AMC 8 or simply looking for a fun way to dive into challenging math problems, this event is a great opportunity to start the year on a high note. After the forty minute competition, we’ll also be going over solutions and leading discussions about the problems!
