Hi everyone!
We have exciting news to share! Last month, SIMC sent two teams, Washington Gold 1 and Washington Gold 2, to the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament in Boston. We’d like to congratulate both teams on their incredible performances!
Washington Gold 1 placed 1ST OVERALL in Team Sweepstakes, as well as 1st in the Guts Round and 5th in the Team Round, beating teams from all over the country!
Washington Gold 2 placed 15th overall in Team Sweepstakes, as well 31st in the Guts Round and 14th in the Team Round.
Benjamin Fu also placed 1st in the Geometry Round and 7th overall individually. Congrats Benjamin!
If you are hoping to participate in collegiate competitions with teams from SIMC, stay tuned next fall for the 2026 SIMC TST!
